Notice for Non-Payment of Rent

As of March 29, 2023, Oregon’s notice laws for non-payment of rent changed. Here are two key changes Oregon Landlords need to be familiar with:

  • When rent is at least 7 days late, Landlords may provide a 10-Day Notice to Quit.
  • The Notice Re: Eviction for Nonpayment of Rent must be provided to Tenants along with the Notice to Quit.

These are required first steps in the Oregon Eviction Process.
