Virginia Methamphetamine Disclosure Requirements

Virginia Code Section 55.1-1219 provides that if a Landlord has actual knowledge that a rental unit (1) Was used to manufacture methamphetamine and (2) Has not been cleaned up according to State guidelines established by the Virginia Board of Health, then this information must be disclosed to Tenants.

When applicable, Landlords should use the Virginia Methamphetamine Disclosure to comply with this requirement. We recommend attaching it as an addendum to your Virginia Residential Lease Agreement.
