Delaware Lease Requirements: Right to Representation

Landlords who have more than three rental units and access to legal representation must provide applicable Tenants with a disclosure outlining the Tenant’s right to legal representation.

This requirement applies to Tenants whose household income over the past 12 months falls below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. These Tenants may be entitled to free legal representation from a designated non-profit.

Landlords and Tenants should visit here for more information.

Landlords with over 3 units should use this as an addendum to their Delaware Lease Agreement.
