Connecticut Required Disclosures: Common Interest Community

Connecticut Law requires that whenever a property owner rents a unit that is part of a common interest community, the Tenant be given written notice that the property is part of such a community. This notice must be given before the parties execute a Lease Agreement.

If your property is a condominium or planned community that falls under Connecticut’s common interest community statute, use this Disclosure as an Addendum to your Connecticut Lease Agreement.

EZ Tip: Common Interest Communities generally have unique rules, restrictions, and fees. In addition to providing your Tenants with this disclosure, it’s also helpful to provide them with applicable rules and regulations. Customize our HOA Rules Addendum to make sure your Tenants have the information they need.
