Landlord Question and Answer Forum
We are renting our old house out-the house will need to be 're-keyed' for security for the new tenants.
Is that something I can charge them? So when they move IN the doors will all be re-keyed? Or do I 'eat' that cost?
Thank you

RE: Can you charge a deposit for this?
Typically that's included in the cost of doing business however, some landlords do charge a small key fee.
