How much am i allowed, by law, to charge for rent late fee in nj?

In New Jersey, Late charges must be reasonable.They should be related to the actual expense suffered by the landlord in the payment being late. Although there are no stated limits within the New Jersey regulations, most judges would frown upon an exorbitant amount charged for rent being late.
