On the 20th I found a renter for a home I had. I gave her the lease and told her I needed 250.00 to secure the rental until she could pay rent and move in on the 1st of the month. I took the ad out of the paper, 4 days later she said she couldn't rent it now and my lease said nothing about no refund if she backed out. Am I stuck with a refund? I have to pay 110.00 again for a new ad. and I lost rent for the first of the month? I took time off work to get the place ready for the first now it's just going to sit until I find a new renter I feel she should be responsible for some of the cost she caused me?
