Who keeps the lease with original signatures? Landlord or Tenant? Also I faxed signature a legal document? Gayle. VA

The landlord should keep the original lease. Faxes are typically acceptable in these types of transactions. Obviously you would prefer a manual signature, but a copy is good in a pinch.
