Landlord Question and Answer Forum
Hello All,
What are the best resources for determining what to charge for rent and for the deposti? So far, our estimates are based on several sources: Rentometer.com, an average of professionally managed properties in the area with similiar units, and an average of local community postings such as Craigslist and the newspaper. Never done this landlord thing before, and would appreciate any and all help.
Thank you!

RE: CA Bay Area Rent Amounts
It sound to me that you have your answer, 1 That is how you can determine what amount to rent your unit. 2 Take into concideration what you offer ,did you updated/reno the apt.
If you have time go see what your comp. offers.
