Landlord Question and Answer Forum
I was told that it is illegal to give an applicant their results to the background checks we have performed - in this case - credit, eviction and criminal. I live in Pennsylvania. Can anyone tell me if this is true and why is it illegal to give a person their own results?

RE: Background check results
Why would you, If they have bad credit or a thug do not even contact them back. Tell them you went off a list , and someone else was chosen, do not leave yourself open.
