Landlord Question and Answer Forum

Forum / General Property Management / sex offender living in our house in ohio
we own and rent a home in ohio. we rented it in Dec, been nothing but problems from day one, bounced checks, late rent, always some excuse every month, now I get a letter from the prosecuting attorney in the city we have our home in, stating that a recently released tier 2 sex offender has listed our address as his residence. when i called our tenents, she said it was her son. (HE IS 20). I told her he CANNOT live there, he is NOT on the lease, they did not make us aware that he was living there up front, and they are now in breach of their lease. She says they will move out March 1, do i have a legal stance to take them to court for breaking their lease? We live out of state also. Thank you for any help....
