Landlord Question and Answer Forum
Now that anyone can get a Emotional Support Animal certificate online in 2 days one landlord in our area is questioning her situation. Any thoughts or advice? Tenant moved in, signed a No pet lease clause. Now has brought in a dog that is a breed specifically prohibited by the home owner insurance company. They have acquired an online animal emotional support certificate.

RE: Emotional Support Animals
Emotional Support Animals are NOT subject to ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) rulings. Period. Therefore, a landlord can deny occupancy if desired. They just spent money on a worthless piece of paper.
