Landlord Question and Answer Forum
Where can I go to print out Colorado rules or laws regarding sub-leasing? Is Sub Leasing a rule or law or is it just defined by the way each individual Rental Lease Agreement is written?

RE: sub-leasing
Under Colorado law a landlord may not unreasonably withhold permission to sublet. Check your lease for a sublease or assignment clause. you want to make sure that the person the unit is being leased to is scrutinized by the same criteria you used for the original tenant.
