My Mother (who now lives in Oklahoma) is planning to rent her Florida condo (next door to my condo) and would like me to be her "agent." What legal responsibilities does an agent have?

RE: Agent's Legal Responsibilities
The "agent" generally acts on the owners behalf; therefore technically may be liable for whatever an owner is. It is important to have a proper agreement in place as well as the proper liability insurances on the property to avoid this. This is more of an aissue when an agent is dealing with a large number of units more so than one unit.
