Landlord Question and Answer Forum
I am preparing to sign a house lease with a friend in CT. He is the sole "tenant" and will be the only one signing the lease. His fiance and two for her four children will be occupants. If their relationship does not work out and "he" moves out, we do not want her and her children to be able to stay in the house - even if "he" agrees to continue to pay the rent. Is there anything we can or should put in the lease so she and her children cannot stay for the rest of the year? Thanks.
