Landlord Question and Answer Forum
Do you have a release form that doesn't exclude all claims on the tenant when breaking their lease? The landlord would like to keep it open until the walk through is completed and the tenant is demanding a release form now. The landlord is claiming the fee for the broker to re rent the property from the last months rent and is not charging the $50 deduction in the rent to the exiting tenant as the rent has been reduced.
