Howdy, If my roommate is late and pays me with a check by Friday at 5:30 that I can't deposit til Monday can I charge late fees til Monday or it has to til Friday?

Do you have a lease and what does it say? If the check is in your hands on the due date then no. Does it happen all the time? You can deposit check through the app for many banks or at the ATM. Isn't your bank open Saturday Morning?

Makes sense what you are saying, I guess the rule should be "No personal checks when late"
