When an existing tenant's lease is up, would you just change dates on current lease or create a whole new one.

RE: Updating an existing lease
I just use a renewal stating that all terms remain the same and give another year depending on the tenant. IF i had a ton of changes to make i would create a whole new lease.

RE: Updating an existing lease
The template lease for the most part need to be customized for a new tenant; the template is useful though. Provide a copy to the tenant for review at least one day before moving in/signing the lease to make sure both are in agreement with the lease terms.
