Landlord Question and Answer Forum
I have been told that (word of mouth) I am required to completely repaint the interior of the house before a new tenant moves in. Is that correct?

RE: painting between tenants
You need to check local/state tenant laws. I doubt you're required. However, if the unit was not painted for several years, you probably could not charge them for painting when they move since it wasn't freshly painted when they moved in.
