My home has solar panel. I was advised that I could charge the tenant $50 a month for the panels which is included in the rent. They are also responsible for the electrical bill. Is this right? I couldn't find any addendum for it online when it comes to solar.

That is tough because it is something that is slowly becoming more popular, which is great that you have them! I would really search online for the laws regarding the tenants responsibility with the solar panels and the electricity.
