Landlord Question and Answer Forum
I need to write up a lease and meet with our new tenants. My husband is the official owner of our property. Does he need to sign and be there to sign the lease? Can I sign the lease with the tenants? Does it matter?
Anything else I'm forgetting?

RE: Another property manager question
Usually the landlord or property owner signs the lease with the tenants. You should also make sure to give the tenants information on whom should receive the notices, rent and any information regarding the property.
