Forum / General Property Management / Tentative Lease Agreement or Hold Contract
HI, looking for insight or advice on how to write up an agreement to hold property until June 1st. I started to fill out the lease agreement package using the wizard, but it appears to be more appropriate when the new tenant is ready to occupy the property. I am basically looking to do a preliminary lease agreement that says I will lease the property to them on a certain date, and they will pay me a hold fee as earnest money until we formally sign the lease agreement, do the move in inspection, and sign over the keys on June 1st. Thanks!

RE: Tentative Lease Agreement or Hold Contract
I am pretty sure the lease wizard has a check box to add custom text under lease term. You could write about holding the property and then add the term of the lease under custom term. Good luck.
