Hello, I am considering renting to a a couple. They filled out a app and the gal gave her SSN. However the guy is a financial advisor and claims that he really can't because of his job. Is there another way to get a credit report without him giving his SSN out? Or is there something I should be really concerned about?

First of all - you cannot perform a credit check on the "financial advisor" without his information. TO me it is a BIG red flag that he is unwilling to give this out.I would explain that this is your procedure and in order for you to make your determination, the SS# is required.
