Landlord Question and Answer Forum
My tenant damaged the front hallway while moving furniture. I confronted her and she said the company that she rented the furniture from did the damage and beacuse it wasn't her fault she is not paying to have it fixed. What is my optins here?

RE: Damage
She is responsible because the movers came at her request and she hired them. She can then sue the movers if she wants them to be responsible for the cost.

RE: Damage
Forgot to say, don't confront. Just send her a bill.
