How long should you keep old lease documents?

As with everything from taxes to receipts it is recommended that you have 5 years backed up. Courts and the IRS will dig deep so be sure you have what you need.

I myself had doubt about it. So, I talked to my property manager at Lone Star Realty, he suggested that your lease documents will be checked the time you shift to another rental home. So, keep it safe with you.
