When doing a criminal background check how far back do you check and how in-depth should it show?
I question the fact that I did criminal check on a possible new tenant and it seems very vague. It just showed that he has traffic violation. This it seems normal for criminal check.

Traffic violation is not a big issue. I always screen the tenants through Lone Star Realty, a real estate and property management firm in Texas.

Yea traffic violations are nothing to worry about. I use http://myrental.com/ when I do my screening services and haven't ran into a problem with them yet. Best of luck!
