Landlord Question and Answer Forum
I typically market my units thru Zillow which also goes through Trulia and Hotpads. I am getting more frustrated as more than half of my inquiries are people just wanting to farm my phone number which then creates even more scam calls. I do not give up my cell number until I have had a few back and forth through the system which protects my actual info. Eventually you need to talk to tenants obviously. Does anyone have a way to combat this? I reverse search their phone number but this often times does not help either.

RE: Identification theft deterrents
Hi, I advertise through Zillow as well. I use a separate pay as you go cell phone for my listings and I just let them leave voicemails.
