Landlord Question and Answer Forum
I have a young mother applying for a unit. She seems sound, but has baulked at doing a full application (citing identity theft fears - which I can understand). While I empathize, I told her it was standard (I use the free application from this site). She has come back asking if giving her credit score is enough. I said no, that I need job/income (current and past), housing, references etc..
Would that be a red flag for you? I'm not ready to reject her by any means, but I find it strange that she's resisting something so basic.
Are younger people just not accustomed to being forthcoming with information in this situation?
