Forum / Tenant Screening/Advertising / credit check screening fee

What is typically done for the credit check fee? If you have the applicants pay for it is it reimbursed if they are the ones to sign the lease. Or is it a straight up fee, end of story?

It is treated as an application fee. If you have the applicants pay for their screening, they will pay the fee whether they are accepted or declined.
