Forum / Tenant Screening/Advertising / Applicant has no credit and no emergency contact

The applicant moved to the US from Russia a year ago. The credit report shows no credit history. Should I be concerned? Also, The applicant did not list an emergency contact person on the application. I explained that in an emergency we wouldn't be able to notify anyone to help her. I asked if she would like to list her employer. She works as a legal aid. I'm concerned that the application results may be too vague.

I would screen them manually. Like do a phone screening, employment verification and rental application.
