What kinds of documents can be requested for verification of income?

I use the employment verification form. Send it to the employer they listed on their application, I always let the applicant know that I will send this form before I send the application as well.

My agent at Cloud Real Estate asked for previous pay stubs, employer reference and tax return statements to verify my tenants' income.
