I placed an ad, and a number of people are interested and applying. If all are equal, who gets the lease? Is it first come first served? Do I give them a bidding option and give it to the highest bidder? Any guidelines? Thanks.

Lucky you to have so many interested applicants! I would approve the first applicant that is also the most qualified for the rental.
