Landlord Question and Answer Forum
Hi.
I've recieved an INTV (Immediate Notice to Vacate) every month this year, but have paid rent in full before the first. I keep giving a notice of objection, only to recieve another IMTV the following month. All have different balances and I know I DO NOT owe since I complied with bringing my balance current in my last hearing in March. I think it's because they can't provide proof of the rent arrears for a hearing. What action can I take?
I have not filed a complaint with ORT because I can't afford the 50 dollars fee ¿¿
Where is the property located?
Lloydminster Sk
Follow up question :
I have several other tenants (about 20) dissatisfied and would like to file complaints, but are in fear of violating lease agreements speaking out. Some tenants have even been offered 'incentives ' in my building in exchange for filing a complaint against me. Is there anyway I can 'weaponize' these complaints against Avenue Living?
It's been really frustrating and has had an impact on my home based business with customers. (I fix devices). I often find many not returning after handing me these notices on my door. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
