Landlord Question and Answer Forum
The landlord at the property where I rent has just decided that they will take payment in only 3 ways - 2 require a "AUTO PAY" system where they have access to your bank account and the other is by Credit Card which charges the standard Credit Card fee. Can the landlord restrict the ways to pay the rent after a lease has been signed? I do not want to give them access to my bank account nor pay the credit card fee - do I have any choices?

RE: Changes to Paying Rent
IF your lease is already set up to pay a certain way you can keep paying this way and notify the landlord you would not like to agree to the changes. I would also do your research and read through your lease agreement.
