Landlord Question and Answer Forum
I would like to know why we are required to attend an annual landlord orientation every year? These orientations are mandatory and if we do not attend we chance losing our section 8 status. If I must travel from out of state, Wisconsin, every year to attend these orientations then I feel that the Tampa Housing Authority should pay for my total trip. I read the changes on the web site and I understand what they are saying. I don't have to travel 1700 miles to have someone explain it to me. I only have one home and have rented to the same tenant for 5 years. Are you all serious???

RE: LANDLORD ORIENTATIONS
You are required to go to these meetings as a way to be "certified" Laws change often and they want landlords to be educated.
