Landlord Question and Answer Forum
In the state of MA, is a landlord allowed to notify a tenant that he or she must move out by the time their lease has expired? The same question goes for a tenant at will. What are the laws in MA regarding this issue?

RE: landlord requesting a tenant to move out once the lease has expired
I think you have to give them, in writing, a 30 day reminder. If they don't go, I'm not sure what to do. I have the same issue.
