Landlord Question and Answer Forum
Hello, I use ezlandlord.com to generate all of my forms for rental in GA. I have a tenant in one of my properties thats behind for june and having financial difficulties looking forward. I think that looking to file bankruptcy. How will that effect the lease, and will they get to stay in property without paying??
Worried owner,

RE: Tenants possibly filing Bankruptcy in GA
They are still responsible for the rent. If rent is not paid, eviction will follow.

RE: Tenants possibly filing Bankruptcy in GA
The question to ask yourself is "How many months of non payment will it take before I get into trouble?" If you haven't yet, send them a Notice to Pay. If they don't, start an eviction process.
