Landlord Question and Answer Forum
My tenant's lease was up in September of 2014. At that time, I sent him a renewal letter with my offer of another 1 year lease. He never signed it, but I did mail it to him and e-mailed it to him as well. He is now claiming that he thought he was in a month to month lease, but the form clearly states that if he does not reply, the lease automatically rolls over. Am I covered?

RE: Kentucky Lease Renewal Document
You would have to check by your states laws, if there is no signature it may automatically be only a month to month lease.
