Looking for addendum to either a lease or roommate agreement in CA. I would\d like to offer reduced rent in exchange for occasional care of our horses and poultry when we travel. Would also like it to include some protection against lawsuit for and illness/injury associated with said care.

There are insurances that you can buy for protection against caring for animals or actions carried out, you can also make an agreement for exchange of services for rent decrease. You may want to look at these outlets.
