RE: bad girlfriend who is not on the lease. how to get her out
You have two options when it comes to dealing with a hold-over tenant. You can accept him as a tenant for a new lease term, or treat the tenant as a trespasser and seek eviction.

RE: bad girlfriend who is not on the lease. how to get her out
We have the ame issue except it is a boyfriend. The tennant swears he does not exist but he obviously does, an is living with her.. She was escorted away by police toda and gave this guy the keys to the home. We asked the police to treat him as a trespasser. They will not remove him becuase he was invited by the tennant.
Until eviction is served, wht can we do to remove him.

RE: bad girlfriend who is not on the lease. how to get her out
We have the same issue except it is a boyfriend. The tennant swears he does not exist but he obviously does, and is living with her. She will "not place him on the lease becuase he isnt living there". On another unreltaed issue, this tennant was escorted away by police today and gave this guy the keys to the rental home. He is there and not leaving. We asked the police to treat him as a trespasser. They will not remove him becuase he was invited by the tennant.
Until eviction is served, what can we do to remove him. Can we change the locks since it appears she was arrested (although we dont know for what). Is there anythgin w can do to keep him out if we can remove him from the rental property.
