Landlord Question and Answer Forum
Hello. I have a commercial property that i acquired through tax lien. the previous owners have been offered a lease option to remain in the property but have not signed or responded to numerous attempts to finalize the agreement. Do i handle the eviction the same as a non rent payment agreement even though there is no lease signed?

RE: eviction from a commercial property
I am not sure if commercial real estate is the same, but my guess would be that its pretty similar. If you dont pay, you get evicted.

RE: eviction from a commercial property
Although Commercial tenancies do not have the restrictions in many cases that the residential tenant and landlord face, you still have to take the proper steps and legal procedure to evict. Usually some type of a notice first and then filing in court.
