Landlord Question and Answer Forum
We served our tenant with a 30 day notice to move that ends in the middle of the month. My husband gave him verbal approval to stay until the end of the month. Do I need to or should I put this in writing? Are 15 day extensions acceptable or are notices only in increments of 30 days? Thank you!

RE: extension of 30 day notice
Some of the other roommates are moving and we thought it was a good time to look for new tenants.

RE: extension of 30 day notice
Put the extension in writing, use the date that the verbal was agreed to, and make sure he signs & dates the change. . -----Disclaimer: Since I’ve been answering a lot of questions, I thought I would make the following statement.
