Landlord Question and Answer Forum
My question is whether a husband and wife contemplating divorce may enter into a temporary lease agreement causing the party that will be leaving the premises to pay agreed upon amount until vacating said premises?

I’m assuming you’re on a long term lease. Both of you need to speak with your landlord together, explain the situation and see what he’s willing to do. If landlord is not willing to work with you, let me know what happened. . -----Disclaimer: Since I’ve been answering a lot of questions, I thought I would make the following statement.
