Landlord Question and Answer Forum
My tenants have had unauthorized pets (pit bulls) in my house for the third time this year. The first time they were sent an email warning. They said they got rid of the dogs. The second time they were sent a certified letter to cure or quit. Animal control picked up two pit bulls. There is a no pet policy and our insurance does not cover dangerous breed animals. They are putting us at legal risk. My question is, is my neighbors' sworn affidavits stating that they have seen the dogs in and out of the house again proof enough to evict?

RE: Eviction for unauthorized pets
Well plus you have the prior animal control pick up that they have done it before.
