i think i screwed up, I kick a tenant out of an apartment through a text message saying [ you have 2 weeks to get out if yoy cant do it i will hire sombody to do it for you]. this is my first tenant and he owes me 1250$ back rent, i have no written lease or a written eviction notice,and he moved out three days after the text, do you think i have a case on getting my money back

I think if you want that tenant out, its best to proceed with an eviction using the correct forms.
