Landlord Question and Answer Forum
I gave my tenant a 3 day notice to pay or quit. On the fourth day when he didn't pay I went to court and filed the eviction, I had someone served the Unlawful Detainer Complaint and Summons. When I called the court to see if he had file an answer, the court clerk told me he filed a fee wavier and the judge denied the fee waiver. The court clerk told me I have to wait 10 days before I can do anything. I forgot to ask if it was 10 working days or just 10 days. Does any know if it were 10 working days or just 10 days? What do I do after the 10 days? Thanks,

RE: Eviction
Traditionaly, 10 biz days and no holidays included in that count. I would contact your local court house to verify.
