I served a 3 day notice to pay or quit followed by a 30 day notice to vacate. Can I file the unlawful detainer immediately or I am required to wait the 30 days and then file the UD if they dont move.

If the tenant has not moved at the end of the 30th day, you can then file an unlawful detainer (eviction) lawsuit to evict.
