I have a rental where the tenants have verbally stated they will be out by the end of the month. But wont give it to me in writing. To my knowledge they are no longer staying there but they have someone else staying there that is not on the rental agreeement....i have contacted law enforcement andthey stated they cannot do anything i have also asked the person to leave and got the door slammed in my face....what is yer advise

RE: trespassing?

If the police are unwilling to remove the person as a trespasser, you'll have to evict them as a squatter, going through the entire eviction process.
