tenants did not sign a lease, have already paid first months rent, deposit, have taken possession, but have not moved in. within 4 days, they apparently found another place, am I entitled to keep any of the money? $375.00 rent, $100.00 deposit Pontiac, IL,,, or how else could I find the answer without attorney.

If they didn't sign a lease agreement, and it was just a couple days that they held up your tenant search, I don't think you can justify keeping their rent and security deposit to a judge.
