Landlord Question and Answer Forum
I have a tenant whose lease ends in September but wants to move out now because of a job change to another city close by. This being winter is the worst time to rent out a property. Does anyone have suggestions as to proposing a buy out from the tenant or suggestions how to handle this?

RE: Tenant ending Lease Agreement
I would collect one month's rent as a fee for releasing them from the lease, to cover the time it'll take to find a new tenant.
